If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. I set time, date, etc. Then I moistened chest strap per instructions. Then I pushed mode button per instructions. Whole unit froze, no buttons would work. Called service number, who transferred me to a "manager", who didn't answer the phone. I'm not playing the runaround game. Biggest piece of junk I've ever seen. Would have loved to know you can't get a reading when swimming laps. While many have complained about reading the LED in sunlight, I find if you shade the watch with your body or anything it does become ledgible. HR readings are very very close to doctors equipment. Purchase Suunto T6 Triathlon Pack (T6 Heart Rate Monitor, Road Bike POD, Foot POD, and Memory Belt)

Having used it for a couple months, let me give the pros and cons.

The watch itself: love it, it's comfortable and functional. I highly recommend the watch.

The foot pod: not as much of a fan. I have a garmin forerunner GPS unit I like a lot more. The foot pod has to be calibrated to your stride, and if you change stride, it will become inaccurate. I prefer the GPS unit in terms of accuracy.

The bike pod: I don't have a bike yet but I hope to use this in the future.

One thing that really bugs me about this is the heart rate belt. It has memory built in to it. I really just wanted to use it to see my heart rate on the watch, but it is also known as a memory belt, which means it stores past data. What sucks, is that when it is full, it starts BEEPING EVERY 3 SECONDS AND WON'T SHUT UP. And the only way to make it stop is to connect it to your PC and download the data.

When you're out for a run, or if you're away from your PC, or just too busy to download the damn data from it, the beeping is maddening. I went back to using my garmin, the HR number is smaller and harder to see, but at least it doesn't constantly beep and annoy the hell out of me.

I'm happy with RS800 but very disappointed with Watchsavings - the amazon's partner.

I live in Brazil and I've received my order at a friend's address in USA. He took it to me and I have a problem: I bought a "1 of Polar RS800G3 Bundle ( Includes S3 Stride Sensor), G3 GPS Sensor, Free IRDA" (order # 104-7005327-9628241) and the S3 Stride does not came in the box. I've just received the RS800, the GPS Sensor and the IRDA. I need to know what happened. I sent an e-mail to Watchsavings 2 weeks ago and they didn't answered me. Cheapest Suunto T3 and GPS POD Multisport Combo Pack

I've had a Suunto T3 Combo Pack for 2-1/2 years. During the 2 year warranty period I had to send the heart rate monitor in three times for repairs. Now, 6 months after the warranty expired, it has stopped functioning again. Rather than spending the money for out of warranty repair, I am trying a Garmin unit instead. Applying the repair costs to the purchase of a Garmin made it quite reasonable compared with the cost of repairing the Suunto. This watch is working great for me. It's not as convenient as having a strap model when you want a reading, but it's only around 5 seconds and you also get rid of the necessity of wearing strap in the first place.

Its patented EKG-accuracy heart rate monitoring gives very good results (or it seems so to me). Search 'smart health USA' for detailed information about the company developed this technology.

NB:
1. guys with big wrists should stay away. I would say an empirical criterion is that if you are over 190lbs, you should be careful before ordering.
2. The product itself does not look exactly like the one shown in the image. They are pretty similar though. There is no `Reebok' logo on the watch itself, it appears on the package though.

All in all, great product and works fine for me!
