I've had a Suunto T3 Combo Pack for 2-1/2 years. During the 2 year warranty period I had to send the heart rate monitor in three times for repairs. Now, 6 months after the warranty expired, it has stopped functioning again. Rather than spending the money for out of warranty repair, I am trying a Garmin unit instead. Applying the repair costs to the purchase of a Garmin made it quite reasonable compared with the cost of repairing the Suunto.
